The Law Offices of John W. Tumelty invites all high school seniors in Cape May County and Atlantic County in NJ to enter to win a $1,000 scholarship to the four-year college of their choice. Applicants must submit an essay that will be judged by the law firm staff.*

A longtime resident of South Jersey, a former Atlantic County prosecutor and a local businessman for more than 30 years, criminal defense lawyer John W. Tumelty is providing an annual $1,000 scholarship essay contest because he knows the impact of obtaining a college degree. He believes, in this economy, smart, hard-working students can use some help paying for that important education.

Tumelty has been practicing law for over 30 years and would like to help a smart, hard-working student with a passion for the law to pay for their education.
